?? - Technorati

Add to Technorati Favorites So what is the Chinese for "Technorati"? There is no Chinese Technorati website (only Japanese and they seem to use English and テクノラティ. I have no idea what that is, it's not Kanji). Wikipedia in Chinese only shows the English.

Now the word itself is clearly derived from "literati" (as is "digerati" and the earlier "glitterati") which we've lifted from Italian. For "literati" Google gives 文人 (wenren, "literature person"). It isn't in my Oxford dictionary, but they give the reverse translation as "man of letters, scholar".

Some guesses I had were: 科人, 技人, or 科技人.
Google translates these as "branch people", "technical people" and "IT people".

But 技人 may have something to do with some artists or dancers of some Three Kingdoms era political party?

科技人 does seem to be a fairly well know term for IT workers, but that's at the opposite end of the spectrum from what we'd mean in English by Technorati.
